Modern air-con systems require regular maintenance, to enable the systems to operate at optimum level. So your air-con can be ice cold on a warm summers day it is recommended that every two years an air conditioning service is carried out on your vehicle.
What we do when we service your cars Air Conditioning
- Pressure wash clean condensor
- Inspect visually all pipes and hoses for condition and its serviceability
- Fit new pollen filter (this filters air entering passenger compartment)
- Carry out refrigerant reclaim to see how much gas was in the system compared to manufactures recommendation, sometimes the level can be low due to natural seepage.
- Re-gas the system adding a ultra violet dye for leak testing purposes
- Carry out final function test
